Qualified Listeners was built on the desire to support Veterans and their family members, and our Culture of Kindness drives everything we do throughout the organization. When you volunteer for Qualified Listeners, you become part of our family, and you will make a difference in the lives of Veterans every day.
We are a nonprofit that helps Veterans and families find more peace in their life. Since 2017, we have provided a variety of direct services including peer-to-peer listening, transportation and direct Veteran assistance. Our staff and volunteers care deeply about our mission and our work that makes deep impacts on the lives of Veterans and their families.
Ambassadors assist the staff and other volunteers to increase awareness, support outreach and recruit new volunteers. Volunteers help extend our outreach into the community, raising awareness of Qualified Listeners, recruiting volunteers and connecting veterans with our services.
Time commitment varies based on event schedule and volunteer availability.
