Listening

Listening is one of the most meaningful gifts we can offer one another.

Often, people aren’t seeking answers or solutions; they simply want someone who will truly hear them, without judgment, and who understands what they’re going through. That’s what we do as Qualified Listeners.

We primarily serve the Northern Colorado (NOCO) region. While most of our programs are based there, we can sometimes provide services outside the area depending on volunteer availability. As we continue to grow, our service region may expand. Please don’t hesitate to ask about your specific location.

Our Listening Program is confidential, respectful, and rooted in compassion. Qualified Listeners was founded to create meaningful, supportive connections for Veterans, and that mission remains at the heart of our work. Additionally, we recognize how essential it is for Veterans’ families to have a supportive listener as well, and we are here for them, too.

*To begin the onboarding process, we require verification of Veteran status, including proof of service, to ensure we can properly match you with the support you need. Please note that all of our services are based on the availability of funds and volunteers, and the majority of our services and community resource partners are based primarily in the Northern Colorado (NOCO) region. While most QL programs operate within this area, we do offer limited transportation services outside of NOCO depending on volunteer availability.
