At Qualified Listeners, our team is a family of passionate, big-hearted folks who share one goal: serving and supporting our Veterans and their families. So, we wanted to pull back the curtain so you can get to know some of the dedicated people working behind the scenes, and the front lines, to make our programs possible.

A Stronger Veteran Community
The 6th Annual Vet Connect Open House was held on May 10, 2025, at the Embassy Suites in Loveland, and was a resounding success! Veterans and their families came together for a morning of camaraderie, meaningful conversation, and new connections. Attendees explored valuable resources, met with dedicated support organizations, and enjoyed refreshments in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The event truly embodied its mission, connecting veterans to veterans, and reinforced the importance of community in honoring and supporting those who served. Qualified Listeners is grateful to everyone who participated, volunteered, and helped make this gathering an inspiring celebration of service and unity.
From January through June 2025, Qualified Listeners has continued its mission of serving Veterans and their families with compassion, dedication, and measurable impact. In just six months, our volunteers and staff have completed hundreds of missions, driven thousands of miles, and provided critical listening sessions, transports, and direct assistance. These efforts reflect not only the needs of our Veteran community but also the unwavering generosity of our donors, sponsors, and partners. Together, we are making a real difference—one mile, one hour, and one act of service at a time.

VOLUNTEER DRIVERS NEEDED
Your Wheels, Their Way Forward
Qualified Listeners is urgently seeking compassionate Volunteer Drivers to support our mission of serving veterans and their families across Northern Colorado. By using your own vehicle, you can make a significant impact. Each mile you drive helps a veteran get to a medical appointment, pick up essential mobility equipment, or maintain vital connections within our community. Beyond transportation, you’ll be helping those who have served feel seen, respected, and supported. If you’re email proficient, can lift at least 50 pounds, and are willing to undergo a quick background check and interview, join us in delivering dignity, care, and independence—one ride at a time. SUITS FOR VETERANS PROGRAMS
Qualified Listeners is proud to partner with ARC Thrift Stores for the Suits for Veterans program, helping Veterans, both men and women, look their best without straining their budget. Through this program, Veterans can receive a free voucher, redeemable at any of the 50+ ARC Thrift Store locations across Colorado, for clothing or other needed items. To participate, simply email your DD-214, photo ID, name, mailing address, and phone number to Resource@QualifiedListeners.org, and we’ll send your voucher. We’re honored to join ARC Thrift Stores in this mission to support those who have served our country.
